GRANDE AFRIQUEGRANDEAFRIQUE ANALYTICS
Your organisation already holds signals about error, waste, fraud, control failure and performance. GAC helps you find, understand and use them.

What we do

GAC Analytics Intelligence
GrandeAfrique Analytics turns repeatable tests into practical assurance routines. It helps organisations identify unusual activity, focus investigations and monitor key control indicators across financial and operational processes.
The service can be delivered as a defined analytics assignment, a recurring managed service or an enabled internal capability. Tests are designed around the organisation's risks, processes, systems and available data—not a generic library applied without context.
Our delivery process

GRANDEAFRIQUE ANALYTICS
GrandeAfrique Analytics is developed and owned by Grande Afrique Consulting Limited. It connects through read-only source-system connections or uses uploaded datasets. Extracted data is stored and analysed on a separate server in the agreed client environment; analytics do not run in the production system.
Agree sources and access, extract data, and validate completeness, structure and limitations before testing.
Run validated, repeatable scripts. Deliver exceptions and management insights through email and dashboards.
GAC develops or converts scripts, validates results, configures delivery and provides local support and improvements.
HOW GRANDEAFRIQUE ANALYTICS WORKS
GrandeAfrique Analytics is a server-based analytics solution developed and owned by Grande Afrique Consulting Limited. It supports data from uploaded files and read-only connections to source systems through agreed connectors.
Agree access, systems and datasets. Read-only connections extract information without altering source records.
Place the extracted datasets on the separate analytics server in the agreed client environment.
Validate data and run documented tests on the extracted datasets. Analytical processing takes place outside the production system.
Provide exception reports, dashboards and email results to selected recipients. Schedule repeatable checks where appropriate.
BUSINESS USE CASES
The tool supports teams beyond internal audit and risk. GAC agrees the questions and tests with finance, operations and other process owners according to their needs.
| Process | Questions to examine | Useful outputs |
|---|---|---|
| Payments & procurement | Are payments duplicated? Are amounts, suppliers or purchase patterns unusual? | Exception schedules and transaction details for review. |
| Payroll | Do employee records and payments reconcile? Are there unusual patterns or record matches? | Reconciliations, matched records and items needing clarification. |
| Revenue & receivables | Do receipts and balances reconcile across systems? Where are there gaps or unusual movements? | Reconciliation differences and trend reports. |
| Inventory & assets | Are movements, balances or sequences inconsistent? Which items require further review? | Exceptions and analysis of stock or asset records. |
| Management reporting | What trends or performance changes require attention? | Dashboards and agreed business measures. |
QUALITY, CONTROL & SUPPORT
Agree extraction scope, record counts, reconciliations and checks for missing or inconsistent data. Document limitations before interpreting results.
Validate the logic, review exceptions with process owners and retain evidence supporting the conclusions. An exception is a prompt for review, not proof of fraud.
Agree authorised connections, storage, user access and result recipients. Keep sensitive information within the agreed client environment.
Document tests and agree validation, change control, backup, recovery and ongoing support arrangements during implementation.
IMPLEMENTATION & CONTINUING SERVICE
GAC can deliver a defined analytics assignment, a recurring managed service or an enabled internal capability. For clients moving from an existing analytics tool, GAC reviews the scripts, converts agreed tests and compares results before the new routine is adopted.
The implementation plan covers source connections, data storage, schedules, outputs and recipients. Existing arrangements are reviewed and retained where agreed. Timing and costs depend on the scope, connectors, data and tests involved.
GAC’s ownership supports local script development, issue resolution and enhancements. The team trains users, supports continuing monitoring and expands tests as new business questions arise.
No. Extracted data is analysed on the separate server in the agreed client environment. Source access and extraction schedules are agreed with the client’s technical team.
Yes. Analytical questions and reports can be designed for finance, operations and other business teams using relevant data and agreed access.
Selected users receive the agreed outputs and review the underlying records. Process owners help distinguish legitimate transactions, errors and matters requiring investigation.
